Event Insurance Requirement
To protect both our guests and our property, all individuals or groups hosting an event at Moonlit Embers are required to purchase Special Event Liability Insurance for the date of their event. The policy must provide coverage for bodily injury and property damage that may occur during the event and must name Moonlit Embers and the property owner as an Additional Insured on the policy.
Proof of insurance in the form of a Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be provided prior to the event date. This coverage helps protect the event host in the unlikely event that a guest is injured or property damage occurs during the event.
Special event liability insurance is affordable and typically costs between $60–$200 depending on the size and type of event, and can usually be purchased online in just a few minutes.
